What is TOP 1O by 2O1O?
"Top 1O by 2O1O is a citizen-based effort to establish a broad vision for a healthy, vital region - economically, socially and environmentally in charting a new course for Southeast Louisiana."
TOP 1O by 2O1O is our goal--to make southeast Louisiana one of the top 10 places to live, work and invest in the United States during the course of this decade.
TOP 1O by 2O1O is also a process. We are bringing together citizens and civic leaders from all walks of life. Together we are setting goals and priorities, developing ways to measure our progress towards those goals, and setting a framework for our mutual long-term success.
TOP 1O by 2O1O is the beginning. It is the start of a concerted, sustained effort to improve quality of life by simultaneously improving our economy, our society, our well-being and the environment in which our communities reside.
